Welcome To Christmas On The Mountain - 2017
I’ve always loved decorating for Christmas, but this year I’ve been so excited to have some “new” elements to decorate… the mantle, the old wagon wheel, and the galvanized tubs that Tony and Jill gave me at Thanksgiving.
I hope you enjoy what I came up with…
The snowman just didn’t look right on the mantle, so I replaced him with the old window and put the snowman outside.
What do you think… which one?
I love my old galvanized watering can. But then I like most old “galvanized” things… buckets, washtubs, and my Grandmother’s washboard.
I made the snowman last year and mounted him on a wooden circle. I hot glued greenery to the circle and then attached my snowman. After Christmas, I take the snowman off, and pull the greenery off the circle and put it away for the next year.
I thought using my Grandmother’s old washboard would be a great place for “JOY”. The 5″ letters were just too big, so I dropped them down to 4″ and it fits much better, don’t you think?
Hope you’ve enjoyed a peak at our Christmas on the mountain decorations. We enjoy them.
I wish each and every one of you a most Blessed and Merry Christmas.
