Broccoli Bacon Cheese Salad

Broccoli bacon cheese salad - easy AND healthy

This is one of my “go-to” salads… it’s healthy, easy to make and really g-o-o-d.

Broccoli Bacon Cheese Salad

  • 6 c.      broccoli florets – broken into little pieces
  • 1 c.      seedless grapes – cut into fourths
  • 1 c.       red onion – finely chopped
  • 2 c.      shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c.   raw sunflower seeds
  • 3/4 c.   bacon – crumbled into little pieces
  • 1 c.        mayonnaise
  • 2 T.       raw honey
  • 2 T.       lemon juice
  • 1/2 t.     dill weed
  1. In a large bowl, combine broccoli, grapes, red onion, cheddar cheese, sunflower seeds, and bacon.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, Italian seasoning, dill, lemon juice, and honey.
  3. Pour mayonnaise mixture over the broccoli mix and toss.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

Hope you enjoy this salad as much as we do.  It ‘s a super healthy alternative to all of the  cranberry  salad and lime jello salad we ate at Thanksgiving.
